Problems are inevitable and occasional for machines. Once they happen, what can you do?

Here we provide some suggestions for MLBE Gasoline engine water pump maintenance.

1. Change the engine oil

When using it first, change the engine oil for the first time after the first month or after 20 hours of use, and then every six months or after 300 hours.

2. Air oil filter maintenance

Clean the element with a non-flammable or high flash point solution and dry thoroughly; then, immerse the element in clean engine oil, squeeze out excess oil, and reinstall.

3. Spark plug maintenance

Check whether the spark plug is worn or the insulating ring is broken or notched. If there is any problem, replace it with a new spark plug. Use a plug gauge to measure the spark plug gap. The gap is 0.70-0.80 mm. The electrode must be adjusted to correct the gap and remove the carbon deposit if it is not met.

4. Storage

If the gasoline engine water pump is not used for a long time, when it is used for the last time, close the carburettor inlet valve first so that the gasoline engine water pump will automatically turn off (it is not used for a long time, gasoline in the carburettor will damage the carburettor). Pour clean water from the water inlet pipe to clean the impeller chamber until the sediment is removed. Finally, discharge the remaining fuel into the tank and put it into a safe-keeping container. The whole machine is stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place.
